Itinerary

Private car from Malang/Yogyakarta. Afternoon arrival at Cemoro Lawang. Hotel check-in, dinner, early sleep.

3 AM wake-up, jeep to Penanjakan sunrise viewpoint. Bromo crater trek. After breakfast, drive to Banyuwangi (5–6 hours). Hotel check-in, rest. Briefing for Ijen night hike.

Midnight departure to Ijen trailhead. 1.5-hour hike to crater. Blue fire viewing (midnight–3 AM). Sunrise over the turquoise crater lake. Descend and transfer to Bali ferry port or hotel.

Good to Know

This tour involves significant walking and an early Ijen hike (midnight start). Guests should be in reasonable physical fitness. The Ijen crater produces sulfuric gas — our gas masks protect you. Best done combining arrival at Bromo from Malang and ending at Bali by ferry.
