Best Time to Visit
Yogyakarta is pleasant year-round. The dry season (May–October) is best for temple visits and outdoor activities. The city rarely experiences extreme weather, making it a good destination any time.
How to Get There
Yogyakarta has its own international airport (YIA) with flights from Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and domestic cities. It's also connected by overnight train from Jakarta (8 hours) and Surabaya (4 hours).
