Lombok

Pristine beaches & Rinjani volcano

Travel Guide

Lombok is Bali's quieter, equally beautiful neighbour. While sharing a similar Hindu-Buddhist cultural heritage, Lombok has its own distinct Sasak culture, language, and traditions. The island offers pristine white-sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and the majestic Mount Rinjani — Indonesia's second highest volcano at 3,726 metres.

The Gili Islands (Gili Trawangan, Meno, and Air) — a short boat ride from Lombok's northwest coast — are among the world's most idyllic tropical islands, with spectacular snorkelling, diving, and a car-free, bicycle-friendly vibe.

Best Time to Visit

May to September is the best time to visit Lombok and the Gili Islands for sunny weather and calm seas. July–August is peak season. Avoid February–March when seas can be rough for island hopping.

How to Get There

Lombok International Airport (LOP) has flights from Bali (30 min), Jakarta, and several international destinations. Fast ferries also connect Bali to Lombok in 4–5 hours. We arrange airport pickup and all island transfers.
